English Oral Presentation Practice
Learning area: Listening and Speaking. An effective short presentation has a clear purpose, an organised message and delivery suited to the audience. Listening includes understanding and responding to other speakers.
English Reading Inference Exercise
Learning area: Reading. An inference combines clues in a text with reasoned interpretation. It must be supported by the wording rather than by an unrelated assumption.
English Sentence Editing Practice
Learning area: Grammar in Use. Agreement and tense help a reader follow who performs an action and when it occurs. Edit the whole sentence rather than changing an isolated word without checking meaning.
English Formal Letter Writing Task
Learning area: Writing. A formal letter should identify its purpose quickly, provide necessary detail and make a courteous, specific request. Formatting must support the message.
How to use the English guide

- Compare the method and reasoning, not only the final answer.
- Complete the follow-up challenge and record one point to revisit.
Plan your next revision session
Keep a short record with the activity name, date, what you could do independently and what still needs explanation. Return to an earlier task after a gap to check whether you can apply the idea without looking at the model response. Work with a teacher or study partner when your interpretation differs from the suggested answer.
