Oral Narrative Performance Analysis
Learning area: Oral Literature. Oral literature is communicated through performance as well as words. Voice, gesture, audience response and setting can affect how a narrative is understood.
Poetry Imagery Response Exercise
Learning area: Poetry. A poetry response links a device to its effect in a particular line. Naming imagery or repetition alone does not explain meaning.
Character Evidence Paragraph Practice
Learning area: Fiction and Non-Fiction. Literary analysis should connect a claim about character with an event or quotation and an explanation. The narrator’s account and the author’s personal views are not automatically identical.

- Compare the method and reasoning, not only the final answer.
- Complete the follow-up challenge and record one point to revisit.
Plan your next revision session
Keep a short record with the activity name, date, what you could do independently and what still needs explanation. Return to an earlier task after a gap to check whether you can apply the idea without looking at the model response. Work with a teacher or study partner when your interpretation differs from the suggested answer.
